Our mission

First launched a decade ago, Ask About Games is a multi-year campaign powered by Ukie in partnership with the Games Rating Authority and games businesses. We’re on a mission to give parents and families access to a wealth of free information and resources, ensuring families can enjoy video games safely and happily! To date, we’ve supported almost 3 million parents through our work, and we hope to support even more going forward.

How it works

  1. We encourage parents and families to download the Power Up Pact and have a conversation with their kids to mutually agree parameters around in-game interactions, spending and time limits.
  2. We support parents and families setup parental controls on your device(s) using the easy walk-through guides.
  3. We make finding the right game for you and your family using the free game guides super easy, which indicate what is most appropriate for each age range.
